There is low degradation in throughput and very low latency with our multi-hop wireless relay, even with over ten hops. By applying our wireless multi-hop relay technology to wireless LAN access points and the backhaul lines of cellular base stations, it is possible to drastically reduce the amount of cumbersome LAN cable wiring.
No wireless LAN controller is required. Even under a dynamic and fluctuating radio wave environment, the individual relay nodes will autonomously create an optimal relay network. Cloud management is also possible, so monitoring the status of each node and update your firmware via your PC or smartphone is simple.
Unlike conventional mesh networks, the more relay hops, the more throughput advantage is achieved. This makes the realization of a large-scale wireless backhaul network possible.
Where our system has been introduced, the use of LAN cables have been cut by an average of 70-80%, and there has been a dramatic reduction in the cost required for a large-scale wireless LAN network. Another benefit is the high degree of mobility that comes from having a wireless ad hoc network. This enables temporary wireless LAN networks to be created for event and conference venues.
